I am an experienced childbirth
educator, and my classes are comprehensive and designed
to give you ample opportunity to have all of your questions
about pregnancy, labor, birth, and post-partum care answered.
Usually I teach my childbirth education class in a single day
for small groups. For larger groups, I teach it over two
days or over several evenings. Private classes are available
upon request. I charge $175 per mommy.

Anatomy and physiology of pregnancy
You receive a full description and illustrations
of your female anatomy and physiology so that you can visualize
your belly and your baby. This helps you during labor and
birth, as you will know what's happening in your body.
Common discomforts of pregnancy
You receive recommendations and information on how to naturally
address the possible discomforts of pregnancy, some of which
include: heartburn, indigestion, leg cramps, restless leg
syndrome, back pain, shortness of breath, restlessness, and
headaches.

the benefit of exercise during pregnancy.
Warning signs during pregnancy
You receive a comprehensive list of symptoms to watch for
during pregnancy, and what to do if you develop one.
Labor and delivery
You receive a full description of the onset of labor, so
that you will know when it's begun. I explain what labor
will be like, and how it will progress.
You receive relaxation techniques, guided visualizations,
and pain coping techniques to maximize your comfort during
labor and delivery.
We also discuss possible complications that may be experienced
during birth and labor, and potential medical interventions.
Newborn care and interventions
You receive an overview on how to care for your newborn.
We also discuss possible medical interventions.
Feeding your newborn
You are given a sense of what to expect, possible discomforts,
what's normal, feeding alternatives, and how to know if you're
producing enough milk.
Vaccination
We discuss traditional and alternative options
for vaccination.
Choosing a pediatrician
We discuss how to approach selecting a pediatrician,
and recommends questions to ask.
